Action: All of the herbs in this compound have been shown to have antiviral activity. Echinacea modulates the immune system and enhances the body’s production of virus-inhibiting interferon. Uses: Indicated as adjunct therapy in disease conditions caused by or associated with a virus: herpes, warts, Epstein-Barr virus and infectious mononucleosis, viral meningitis, mumps, measles, shingles, influenza, etc.
Cautions: Although rare, some sensitive people may develop a skin rash after several days or weeks of ingesting Lomatium root.
