About Us

Owner and community herbalist Cheryl Boiko established Remedies Herb Shop in the lovely enclave of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn in 2014 and in 2022 added a second location in the heart of historic Woodstock, NY. We offer an extensive collection of carefully and lovingly curated herbal goods and products including organic herbs, roots, spices, salts and tea blends, as well as natural skin care, herbal and mushroom extracts, books, flower essences and more.

The staff at Remedies, from the more experienced herbalists to the newest apprentices, are passionate about herbs and healthy living and believe in the power of plants to nurture and heal. We are here to support, encourage and empower you on your journey to vibrant health and healing. In addition to our considerable selection of herbal products, we offer in-person classes and workshops for those who want to deepen their knowledge of herbal medicine and get some practical, hands-on experience working with herbs.

We are proud to share that we carry products from almost 30 different small, local makers who share our commitment to the environment, sustainability and ethical practices. We prioritize products that are free from artificial additives, chemicals and GMOs, ensuring that you receive the highest quality herbal goods available.
