Spring Cleaning: Altar Iterations - Community Fundraiser for NYIC

Thurs Apr 16, 7:30 - 8:30 pm

Join us for an evening of community and ritual. Craft and create a sacred Spring altar from upcycled materials at our Swap and Share event, supporting the New York Immigrant Coalition, an organization providing necessary advocacy for our neighbors.

As you're making your way through your own Spring Cleaning rituals, have you come across treasures or trinkets that no longer serve a purpose at your altar or in your home? Bring them to our Swap and Share <3 Learn intention and rituals to build, maintain and cleanse a home altar space through Feng shui, herbal allies and wise elemental placement, harnessing a sacred place to recover and reflect so you can go back out in and into the world.

What to Bring: Reduce, reuse, recycle! Clear your home of what was once a treasure, magical talisman, or morsel of manifestation but is now taking up space or you have energetically moved on from. Examples of items you could bring: Stones or crystals, art, plant life or herbs, talismans, unused candles, incense or oils, cauldrons, small boxes or jars, tarot decks......

Newer or gently used items only please. This is a "pack in, pack out" swap and share. Participants are asked to take home any items that were not claimed. Each participant will go home with a wood element for their Spring altar.

A portion of proceeds from this event will go to New York Immigration Coalition

Event Cost: $15 (No One Turned Away For Lack of Funds)
