Mindful Nature Journaling Hikes engage participants with nature threefold; the hike immerses us in natural surroundings, the meditation tunes into nature’s wavelength, and the journaling provides the means to closely observe and thereby connect more deeply with nature.
Date: Sunday, May 18th
Time: 2pm-4pm
Location: Meet at the Grand Army entrance of Prospect Park
We'll take a walk for 30 minutes or so into a green space, pause at a quiet spot and sit for a 5 minute guided mediation followed by a 45 minute nature journaling session whereby participants sketch, write, doodle, and/or notate, finding inspiration from surrounding plant life. We will also discuss those plants relevant to herbal remedies.
