Join herbalist Cheryl Boiko for an herb walk through Prospect Park, as we meet some of the native plants that herbalists have traditionally used for food and medicine.

We will discuss the apothecary botanicals that grow in the wilds of our urban parks and landscapes, spending time looking at the early seasonal changes, learning plant id and the medicinal benefits of our weedy friends.

DATE: Saturday, May 31st

TIME: 10AM-11:30AM

PLACE: Meet at 15th St and Prospect Park West entrance to the park

FEE: $25; advanced registration is required

Cheryl Boiko, community herbalist and owner of Remedies Herb Shop, is passionate about sharing her love of the plants! Join her for a stroll through the park and see what our Mother has to offer this spring. We won't be actively foraging but instead sharing knowledge about how to identify and ethically forage our local plant allies so you're equipped to head out and forage on your own.
